HBCUvc is the leading community for creating career inroads to venture capital (VC) and technology investing for Black and other historically excluded communities. Since its inception in 2017, HBCUvc's venture capital training program has provided over 150 paid internships and created new career paths in VC for early Black professionals. HBCUvc's work solves for access to capital by creating investors who serve as new access points for capital in their communities and increases funding for black entrepreneurs. Today, HBCUvc's work has expanded with two additional programs that train new angel investors and facilitate investments in companies that enhance the economic and overall well-being of Black communities.
